Hoheizen is a popular but small neighbourhood on the hillside with only a few inroads, but with easy access to the N1 which is the main feed in and around Cape Town and towards the Boland. The University of Stellenbosch Business school is one of the landmarks in close vicinity to the neighbourhood, as well as the Tygerberg Hospital where medical students are trained. There is a lot of opportunity for outdoor activity and the Tygerberg Nature Reserve, Bellville Golf Course and Majik Forest only a few kilometres away.
